The Overlord
As a journalist, John has written for national newspapers and has authored numerous books. As a copywriter, he has worked for all kinds of public, private and third-sector organisations.
He founded Write Arm in 2012 with the bright idea of exploiting the talents of a throng of gifted writers, then retiring to a tropical island. It didn’t quite work out that way as he found that he rather liked the buzz of meeting clients and winning new business.
These days he’s usually to be found managing projects and staring at spreadsheets.
The island can wait.
The Voice
A seasoned voiceover artist, Richard’s silky tones have breathed life into video games, cartoons, English language courses and radio dramas, and much more besides. He has also given voice to numerous corporate clients, including Ernst & Young and Genworth Insurance.
When not creating aural Armageddon for ‘Total War: Warhammer’ you can find him in the gentle surrounds of Ambridge, where he plays the irrepressible Kenton Archer in the world’s longest-running soap opera.
The Punctuator
Louise has a long track record in editing, subediting and proofreading for a huge range of magazines and corporates. Her clients have included the Open Data Institute, Recruitment and Employment Confederation, the European Bank for Research and Development, and Manchester City Council.
When not nitpicking over the difference between which and that, she writes – her words have been published in the Guardian, the Observer, Best and Big Issue in the North, to name a few.
She lives in Manchester, where it doesn’t rain half as much as people think it does (which is still twice as much as anywhere else).
